Calibration Record. Applicable for all Clifton models
The completed calibration record will be enclosed at the rear of the instruction book accompanying the Clifton unit carrying the following information:
- Unique record number for traceability.
- Serial number of the unit.
- Instrument it was checked against.
- Calibration temperature and actual sensitivity results.
The calibration record provides a measurement of precision about set point with maximum and minimum sensitivity readings obtained. Precision is defined as
(1) The ability of a measurement to be consistently reproduced
(2) The number of significant digits to which a value has been reliably measured.
The calibration record does not provide or assure any form of accuracy.
