MRS Scientific has an extensive catalogue range, but it is impossible to include every item we can offer. We can usually source 99% of standard lab needs, or if we cannot help we will try to direct you to a specialist. Please email with details of your requirement and we will send you our best offer. If we cannot help we will confirm immediately.

How do I use your products?

Can I buy my chemicals and reagents from MRS Scientific?

Yes, we supply a full range of reagents / agars / test kits / solvents for a wide range of applications, including for analysis, life sciences, testing, research, etc, (Subject to legal regulations) but we do not supply chemicals online. Please email your requirement to and we will send you best quote. If you have a preferred brand we can usually accommodate you.


How much are the delivery costs?

Delivery charges depend on destination and weight of the order. When you place the order we will advise delivery charge at that time and send a proforma invoice, including freight costs.

Do prices include VAT Charges?

Prices are excluding VAT. Applicable taxes will be included on the proforma invoice we send you to make the payment.

When will I receive my order?

We aim to despatch stock items immediately, and U.K. deliveries are usually withing 2 working days. For non-stock or made-to-order items we will advise lead time on the proforma invoice.

How do I know goods have been despatched?

We will send you a despatch email when goods are sent. For overseas customers we will send copy of airwaybill/bill of lading and commercial invoice by email so you can start the customs clearing process.

Can I order as a private individual or do you only supply businesses?

Yes, we can supply individuals, subject to any legal restrictions for selected items, and subject to our terms and conditions.

How do I pay for my order?

When you place the order we will advise delivery charge and send a proforma invoice by email, including freight costs and any applicable VAT Charges. Payment can be made by bank transfer, or by credit/debit card with our secure payment partner (PayPal). Please reply to the proforma email stating you wish to pay by card and we will send you a secure payment link.

You do not need to have a PayPal account to use the credit card system.

Can I buy items if I am not in U.K. ?

Yes, we specialise in supply to all destinations worldwide and have established customers in 6 continents. We will include shipping costs to local international airport / seaport only. Local customs clearance and application local import duties and taxes are not included. You can use your own clearing agent, or we can suggest one if you do not have a preference.
