For temperatures above 60°C a lid is recommended in order to reduce evaporation and achieve optimum performance. Using a lid also helps reduce the risk of contamination and saves energy, reducing energy consumption and running costs for your water bath.
Available in both hinged clear plastic and lift off stainless steel. These lids have a high profile which allows extended use of the bath area, right into edges of the tank. They feature insulated handles and the design ensures that all condensate goes back into the bath. The design also ensures there are no drip points to contaminate samples.
