A solid state controlled bath consisting of a 304 (18/8) stainless steel tank housed in a durable paint finished outer case. The reciprocating stainless trolley accepts perforated clip trays for holding flasks, micro-titre plates or test tube racks. The trolley is easily removed for cleaning purposes. The heater is concealed beneath the tank and both shaker speed and temperature are solid state controlled. Stroke length (amplitude) is easily adjusted. The speed is continuously adjustable up to 380 stroke/min (medium load). A manually adjustable hydraulic over temperature device is also included. The bath features illuminated on/off power and shaker switches, heater, over temperature and access door indication lamps.

All Clifton brand baths now feature a powder painted body providing a durable finish and protection against corrosion, with “active anti-bacterial technology”. The finish actively inhibits bacterial growth and is effective against major strains of bacterium including E-coli and Staphylococcus aureus resistant strain.
Within its formulation is a proven anti-bacterial agent, bound into the coating during application and curing to the product, its efficiency is maintained over time, as the anti-bacterial agent is integral within the paint finish.
Every bath undergoes a factory calibration check at a reference temperature.
