Stomacher® 80 Biomaster
The sample processor for the microbiologist, biochemist and cell biologist. The proven performance of the Stomacher® 80 Biomaster in producing consistent high quality results in a fast and efficient way is well documented. It is in regular use worldwide for the processing of a variety of specimens from sputum, tissue (including lung) and the extraction of chemical and drug residues in biopsy and food samples for analysis. Used predominantly in clinical, veterinary and life science laboratories, it is quick and clean to operate, requiring no sterilisation between samples. The unique blending action provides a safe hygienic and convenient method for the preparation of samples-eliminating the risk of cross contamination and aerosol production. The Stomacher® 80 Biomaster is operated by microprocessor controls. It has 3 preset processing speeds and 3 time settings with an additional continuous cycle. The Stomacher® 80 Biomaster is designed to take up less space in the working environment allowing it to fit inside a safety cabinet thus helping to reduce the risk of exposing personnel to infectious or hazardous materials. Samples are retained in the Stomacher® 80 Biomaster bags, these can be heat sealed to remove any further possibility of aerosol release The Stomacher® 80 Biomaster has a hygienic and durable plastic paint finish to the door, handle and bag clamp. Accessories include a 10 place bag rack for holding samples on the bench, minimising risk of spillage and cross contamination, Stomacher® 80 disposable bags (supplied in packs of 2000 contained in sachets of 50) these are highly durable extruded from high grade polythene and are guaranteed against bursting. Stomacher® 80 Biomaster bags are irradiated sterile.
